About Me

I’m Annie, and welcome to my professional counselling page. I’m a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the BACP, based in the beautiful seaside town of Deal in Kent. As a highly trained and empathetic counsellor, I am dedicated to supporting you through life's ups and downs. I believe in the uniqueness of each client I meet. Our counselling sessions together are tailored to your specific needs, ensuring a personalised and effective therapeutic experience that feels right for you. Your privacy is of utmost importance to me. I provide a confidential and secure space where you can freely express yourself without fear of judgment and with complete discretion. I am also a Co-Tutor on the SEG Awards Level 3 Therapeutic Counselling Course at Community Counselling Training (CCT) in Canterbury. In addition, I'm studying Sex & Couples Therapy and looking to train as an EMDR therapist in the near future.

It’s time to work on yourself

I’m guessing if you’ve made it this far, you are considering your own counselling journey! This is great news – it's the first step in making yourself a priority in your own life. I understand that seeking support during difficult times is a courageous step towards healing and personal growth. I will be here, alongside you, to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Whether you are navigating the complexities of relationships, facing personal challenges, or seeking a space for self-discovery, I am committed to accompanying you on your journey towards positive change.

My approach to counselling is holistic, looking at the interconnectedness of your mental, emotional, and relational well-being. As an integrative therapist, I draw from a number of modalities, namely Person-Centred Theory and Transactional Analysis. This allows me greater fluidity in the room to adapt to your needs. I am here to help you foster positive changes that extend way beyond the counselling environment.
